Do not consume alcohol for at least 24 hours to avoid increased bruising.​

Come to your appointment with a clean face.
(Yes, that means no make up or moisturizer!)

Avoid anti inflammatory medications for one week prior to your treatment.
(Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Naproxen, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, St. John's Wort)

Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event which you may be attending, such as a wedding or a vacation. Results from aesthetic injections are not instantaneous, and bruising and swelling my be apparent in the days immediately following your treatment. ​​

Please reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area.

Be sure to have a good breakfast, including food and drink before your procedure. This will decrease the chances of lightheadedness during your treatment.

patients prone to cold sores may develop an outbreak. Those with HSV-1 should therefore be treated with a course of antiviral medication prior to the procedure. Please contact our clinic, or your primary care provider for antiviral prophylaxis prior to your procedure.

Expectations
Before receiving your treatment, ensure that you have realistic expectations. Please be completely transparent with your provider regarding specific expectations and goals. It is important to realize that sometimes specific goals require more than one treatment.
