
AFTER Your Neuromodulator Treatment

Do not manipulate the treated area for 4 hours following the procedure (Avoid touching your face!).

Please try not to drink alcohol for 24 hours after your treatment.

Smiling, Frowning, and activating the targeted muscles after injections has commonly been believed to help the toxin find its way to the into the targeted muscle.

Avoid running, heavy lifting, strenuous activity or exercise for 6 hours following your procedure to avoid tracking of neuromodulator away from the targeted muscles.
​

Do not lie down for 4 hours after your treatment. This will prevent the neuromodulator from tracking into unintended muscles such as the eyelid.

Do not receive facial/laser treatments or microdermabrasion after Neuromodulator injections for at least 10 days.

TIMELINE

It is normal to have redness, swelling, and discomfort for one day following your procedure.

If you experience any of the following, these rare side effects require immediate medical attention:

Everyone is different! We describe the following as appropriate expectations:
3 - 7 Days: Onset

14 Days: Full effect
​
3 - 4 Months: Effects Diminished or Absent

Your treatment frequency is determined by your goals.
If after two weeks you feel that your desired results are not being achieved, more frequent and/or higher dosage of neuromodulator may be necessary.
